I've already got an Asian restaurant that is going to trade me large KOI for FOOD!...
They've got a huge indoor pond that is in need of some Jumbo Koi...
That would be my second most favorite thing to do...
EAT!! :D

Belive me as soon as I get the "heating thing" cost effective or move my bed out to the garage,
I'll be in the ARO scene again:headbang2

thats what i did on my wet/dry outlets. same thing didnt glue so i could aim the water where i want it. the paint does keep them nice and snug.

are you going to be using a sump or wet/dry filter of any sort?
For now I'm just using the prefilter box that I seeded with the bio-balls...

I going to do a modified "bakki shower" three tiered open air high volume filter...

Has anybody ever changed his mind mid stream and then gone to the LSF and spent way over budget, just because what you were doing didn't look right?...

After 10 hours of tinkering and tweeking on my project since 4:30 AM today, I just went and got 100lbs of Black Tahiti sand 2 nice big hunks of Mopani a couple of bubble discs for current...
Came home washed the sand and wood, emptied the tank and redid it...Now I'm a bit more satisfied...
Pix to follow as soon as my camera drys out...dang thing fell in the wheelbarrow, must have been the long hours...LOL :screwy::screwy::D

Long hours for you or the camera LOL ... I know what your talking about with changing your mind half way through something.... I decided to change the layout on my half built pond last week :irked: What a waste of time it was to build then tear down... Oh well better to do it the way I want it now then after it's all done and running for a couple of months and I say ... hmmmm I should have done it the other way LOL.

It seems like doing it, the way you see it in your minds eye, never quite matches the budget...
but when you get the results you are looking for, and it put's a great big smile on your Ma's face, well that's just priceless...

Yes, and he is going to need a very good filter, them types have very big droppins
You ought to see what they look like after he naws on the bone off a 2lb Porterhouse steak

Just started the wood work, I'm tired so it's paused for now...I'll start back up in the early AM...

I know it's a little late, but I wish there was something we could suggest to cover up the cement blocks and plywood....

I'm going to box in the blocks with the rest of the sheet of plywood that is under the tank. I bought 3/4" cabinet grade plywood so I could put a finish on it.

Then there will be some folage and blossoms and such to accent the tank....

Thanks again for all your intrest and support... It's lights out for me til 'morro Peace...
