Ryan dunn was DUI, he could have been driving a Bettle and still killed himself and others.....

Newer gen porshe's aren't that sketchy given dry conditions.... there is so much electronic controls via ecu> abs tcs distribution engine managment STM not to mention a lot of the weight is on the rear wheels (drive wheels) being a mid engine, and newer gens coming with sticky tires and carbon brakes making a STOCK NON TURBO 911 very hard to smash and crash unless its sheer wrecklessness or a beginers touch even more so if it was an auto which they almost all are these days or paddle shifters (no clutch pedal)

Not to doubt your skills there clockwork but for a naturally aspirated engine that handles like a train on tracks that's bad! Again in bad conditions, slick/wet/snow/ice you can say hi to the ditch/tree/guard rail! But dry fairly easy

I've been in 18hp karts with a solid rear axle to 500+hp camaros to mid engine 400+hp mr2's to 600+hp twin Turbo v12 Mercedes to 500+hp AWD STI'S to modded Vettes old and new to track setup lotus espirits and everything in-between and I can 100% say that accident didn't happen at 40mph, minimum of 100+mph and I still reckon a mechanical failure of some sort.....

Paul Walker went to my school. In fact, when I was in 8th grade, I was getting picked on by a Junior. Paul Walker was a Senior. He intervened and actually checked up on me a couple days after. He really was an awesome guy.

That is a cool story Ben. I saw him walking on state st in Santa Barbara a couple times, knew he was a loc.

It Alan! And I have a modded 2 door civic si. Great gas millage and handling! Not as good as a 911 but that's just a daily driver to and from work.

a manual mid engine car in the rain is different, that I can see as I said above!

As for racing this is a drag/Autocross project LS1 '02 Z28 Camaro

-rebuilt head, fuel pump/injectors, drag header downpipe, ecu tuned on dyno pushing 500hp to the wheels built with friend. Couldn't push it to what we wanted because of knock sensor which recently just got handled but unfortunately living in the Midwest this car only gets driven like it should about 6 months out of the year. 12.4 1/4 mile, saving up for Mickey road slicks. Should push it right at 12 flat with good hookup and a stage hand brake.

Main Autocross is our 91 Mr2 MKII Turbo, everything rebuilt with 5S-SE block @ 2.1liters w/ turbonetics T4 Turbo @ 12-18lbs of boost (3" inlet) internals rebuilt w/ ecu/dyno tune, coil overs.
