02 3 door 2.0 L K20A3 I4 EP3. Pics are gonna have to wait till after work! Nothing special, cold air intake, neuspeed stainless exhaust includes cat, rebuilt head, ignition, rear sway bar linkage, b&m short throw with bushing kit and neuspeed heavy stainless shift knob. Just a grocery getter with 30mpg!

8-9th gens have horrible understeer (if you've ever seen the top gear episode) even for a fwd my hatch will oversteer if I slam it in a turn! But fwd's are known for understeer, stiffining up the ass end helps a lot!

×Go S. Vettel #1 Infiniti Redbull! 4x WDC!!! Congrats on another flawless title and 9 wins back to back in 1 season (record!) See you next year in Australia boys!×

Not to be a Toyota nerd, but in 91 it either had a 5SFE (2.2) or 3SGTE (2.0T). There isn't a 5SSE (2.1) to my knowledge. In 1989 they had both a 4AGELC (1.6) and a 4AGZE (1.6SC). And the were no mr2's made in 1990.

Rip to the "Busta"
Now he is keepin angels outa handcuffs...

While I agree that motor did not come standard. Swaps are very common and possible. If he said he had an ls6 in there you can't dispute it really... Any swap is possible. Money and time...

I realize this, I am just not familiar with that engine code or displacement. Is it a Toyota motor? If so what did it come in?

You can hear the Turbo in the vid. A lot of the parts were swapped. We picked it up from Colorado and drove it all the way back to Indy. It came with motor which had a stock Turbo and upgraded that and added a front mount with all new piping and a little restoration like seals/gaskets/pads/new rubber, paint isn't stock either. Came with everything else including a Turbo timer & Greddy pro b spec which is nice. Turbo doesn't really spool till about 4k-4500rpm. Geared very well for medium length tracks, nice power band out of turns!

It was an older guy who rarely drove it but he was in a 'MR2' club so he did everything right

I'd still kill for that supra in the 1st F&F!
