Seriously, doesn't freedom of speech give a person the freedom to say what they want without repercussions? Maybe not on here, but you should be able to call anyone anything without getting in trouble.

Actually it is only the state that can not get you for anything you said. If someone at your school, work etc. Has a problem with what you said, bye bye.

I agree, you should be able to say whatever you want.That way everyone would know just where they stand with one another but then this thing called consequences rears its head....The days of old are just that,look back fondly on them and sing the Archie Bunker theme song all you want but they ain't coming back.

I miss the days when a man with rude behavior could just be socked in the mouth. and various front teeth missing pretty much indicated how dense they were... not being meth users.

Lol....that still goes on around here,to a degree,there seems to always be someone getting thrown out of the nuisance bar down the street.....girls were girls and men were men.
 
Lol, well it used to be that people confronted each other as individuals & added up over time & numbers that might have an affect on someone's thinking or at least controlling themselves.
This extreme pc might be relieving some people from a sense of personal responsibility to interact.
Suing someone and making it a monetary can be more sterile.
