Personally, I'm a 'purest'. If i had a choice between captive bred and wild I would pick wild over the captive every single time. Main thing is availability. A lot of the fish I personally want haven't been bred in captivity yet, even though several people are trying to. Fresh, untainted blood lines are awesome for breeding fish. You have better quality, better traits, just all around better fish. Some people buy wilds and breed them with their captive bred fish to strengthen the blood lines and stuff like that. Ya know, introducing new blood. If you are breeding the fish, and you want to make a profit, havin wild caught, F0 generation fish increases your chances...

. Plus the offspring will be healthier cuz there will be no inbreeding and what. So yeah, i DO prefer wild caught and I will pay more for them...
