if you guys are 90% sure that golden's paraya is an armatus, then I'd grab all of the baby in my lfs...

they have about 5 left



Just don't change your mind about armatus or scomb once I got them...

there is no 100% way of telling right now.
you grab em,theres your chances of getting armatus,if not then theyre all scombs.
thats it.
thats the risk you have to take...
stop making people tell you for sure they are armatus or scomb.

^^ x2 ---at that size there is no way of a 100% ID. And plus you would just kill them like your other fish. The atf the TAT and many others right?

the actions in the vid deff suggest scomb. my instinct guess is deff armatus. channarox is right, its hard to ID at such a young age...

Not True!

I have 2 ATF at one point, one got killed and ate by my ST, and I traded the other ATF for a high compact fluroscent light

The tat died, because it got into a fight with my silver dollar ... and during his recovery in the hospital tank, somehow he passed away

The pink convict and the asian red tail cat I gave it away to a person with a larger setup and space. The convict constantly picking on my other fish's eye and the red tail cat just punk everyone up...

The pacu that I got mixed up with a silver dollar identity, I took it back to the pet shop

The tropheus duboisi, I traded for some long fin albino bushnose pleco

and the rest of the African cichlid, I took them back to the shop's tank

so not every fish turns out dead ^^

As for this scomb/armatus fish, my uncle got a pond that I can fit them into... if they are armatus

I am leaning toward as an armatus
