im thinking that tail looks so huge cause of the angle of the picture.
i could be wrong.
but in the vid the tail seems much smaller than in the pic.

I checked the vid. Tail is still big for a Scomb. However, the vid show body is long and slender. Could be one of those Hydrolycus cousin

Do I have any hope of getting him to eat a piece of meat on fishing line ?
 
Evolution over the last oh say 100,ooo years has gave that fish the teeth is has to eat live fish. So getting him to eat dead is unlikley. And might kill it at that size. Some can be broke and some can't. Etheir way IMO it is cruel to force a dedicated predator to eat dead food. But if you think it is fine to starve and torture the fish to get it to eat what you think is right, go for it.

Do you think its big enough to eat goldfish now ?
