Get some BW's and they will have them gone in no time. I don't understand why people have a hard time getting them to eat(hehe I did too, only on a 8 incher though). All the small ones I have bought ate shrimp and bloodworms right away. Try some raw shrimp from the store too. Pull off the tail and dice it up. Cheaper then BW's. $3.99 a pound here.

all my cichla eat pellets but honestly it's not as easy as just tossing it in the tank.. it takes training. black worms and then guppies and then minnow and then prep foods...

You're right. I guess it helps that my LFS feeds them blackworms to begin with.

They'll eat pellets But do the reseach first I have a store next to me that has 2 inchers for 9.99 I want one but with the reseach Ive done i realized they're to much for me.
