Any suggestions on tankmates for pbass? Ive had them with an arowana but don't want to deal with DE again. Anyone tried them with dats? I have my baby bass growing out and dats separate wondering if mixing will be ok? Also really want an electric blue jack, will this work and any other fish recommended with cichla?

I guess I have two answers....more Pbass, there are pile to choose from and they vary a lot.

2nd. Hoplias Curupira....mobile and pbass tolerant if they are similar size and have room. they are cool.

Nice Tank

Take your pick. Pretty much anything can be housed with cichla. I like to to keep my bass with anything that can keep up with the growth rate of my bass. Since you have ocell's, which grows a inch a months, I would find a other fish that will keep up with that.

This is what I have kept mine with.... rays are good to.

I agree with your first answer, more cichla. I don't why why people don't do more species tanks. No compatibility issues, and less problems overall. Cichla make stunning displays in their own right. They don't need other species make them look "cool".

I have 4 cichlas with two geos and they seem to go well together. my bigger pbass at first tried to bully the geos but they were not having it lol.
