Pea puffer?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Could be the grainy pics, but definitely looks like a dwarf puffer to me...

My fahaka at 1" didn't have a pattern nearly like that...

Either way though, give it a few months and you'll know for sure :naughty:

Rachael, he looks just like yours, sigh. Well I just needed a puffer to eat some snails out of one of my tanks. I'll keep him till the snails run out. Can these eat Malaysian trumpets? Got some tiny hitchhikers in some nana I got recently.

^ No they shouldn't be fed Malaysian trumpet snails as their shells tend to be too hard for puffers and can potentially crack their teeth...

Hey calichai, any chance you get an even clear shot without the graininess of the puffer?

If not, then have a look at these 2 pics and see which one looks more like yours pattern wise?

If he leans more towards pic 2 then you could very well have a fahaka, but if hes more spotty pattern and lacking any sort line type pattern in his body pattern it could be a pea puffer...

Eitherway, willbe interesting to find out what you have as the months go on...
