Pea puffer?

^ thats exactly why i cant agree with the rest that its a fahaka right off the bat, since of all the pics, this seemed the clearest and also showed the least amount of signs of being a fahaka...

The shortter looking tail, the lack of orange spots anywhere on the body at that size, the lack of any type of line pattern on its body just all leads me to think pea puffer rather than fahaka...

My fahaka looked really close to the one above when i first got him. At first i didnt think it was a fahaka. And ive also never saw a pea puffer with eyes like that.

The eyes did throw me off a little, but still didnt outweigh in my mind the other points previously mentioned...

Having seen probably 100+ baby fahakas 1" and under it just looked a little more like a pea puffer to me personally based on those low res pictures, which makies it hard at least for me to say it's 100% one or the other...

Thats very true. Picture quality makes a huge difference.

^ Yeah, thats why i wouldn't dare say with certainty its not a fahaka, just like i won't say its 100% a pea puffer, since based on the pics alone it contains traits from both species...
