Peacock bass curvy gills?Is anyone know why my fish gills start looking like this

My all other basses are good but only this one looks weird
 
Might be gill flukes, how's the breathing pattern? Is he putting more effort to breath or does it seem normal? Or it could be injury due to fighting.

He breathes normal everything is normal got appetite too maybe you are right probably happened during fight because he is the king of the tank
