Peacock Bass Pellet Food

The large omega one pellets are almost as large as massivore. I use bio-gold, food sticks, omega one, and kens premium pellets. I think the food sticks, and kens premium pellets work great for growth, and fattening up. Omega one, and bio-gold bring out the best colors. Bio-gold is harder but I believe that's why it says reduced waste, it doesn't break down and cloud the water as easily.

Thanks for the input. Good to see another another Ohio Cichla keeper on here. Not too many of us haha.

Yea I noticed that too...cichla just aren't that big here for some reason. I went to the Ohio cichlid extravaganza hoping to buy a few and there weren't any.

Omega One. Accept no substitutes. It's made with whole salmon, not fish meal.

omega has a us government grant to dispose of watse fish after they have been harvested. your "whole" salmon are actually whole rotten salmon minus the fillets.... basically, just a rotten useless carcass.

note: fish meal = whole fish bodies with every part grond up finely. fish meal = healty!

Fish meal is made by cooking, pressing, and drying fish and or fish waste. Fish meal comes from fish that are deemed "industrial" not suitable for consumption by humans. Fish meal is also made from trimmings. Look it up.
I would like to see some proof of the rotting seafood in omega one products.

this is a thread i will be watching very closely
i am trying to get my orinos on pellets and i want the best pellet i can get for them
they are rio metas also so is there somethin specific i can use to bring out more blue and vibratnt green?
at 3in they already have blue fins and are pretty green but i want them on pellets so they will grow faster!

UPDATE: So I bought some Extreme Fish food from Kens Fish since that seemed to be the cheapest for me. I was very excited for it because a lot of guys that have tried it have recommended it to me. But for the life of me, I cannot get my bass to eat it. I have tried to soak it for a couple minutes before tossing it in since they kept spitting it out and still nothing. My Flagtail loves the stuff. But it is a very hard pellet until it hits the water and then breaks down pretty fast which I was a fan of because the cats love it.
