The way i sex them is by color and by how many fake egg dots they have on them.. that very first pic you had is a male and that red one seems like a female. The fakes are MOSTLY on male but female will have a couple.. its to pretend to the female that she is picking up the eggs but really the male is fertilizing in her mouth.
Well thats what i think.

third picture is not a peacock, i like to tell you something African Cichlids or any Cichlid's.As long as you like your cichlids who cares if we like it or not so what if they were hybrid as long as you keep them and not sell them,i have a tank just for hybrids and let me tell you somthing my friend,some of these guys look better than anything out there...i mean look at Electric Blue Jack Dempse's....or flowerhorn fish.Peapel payed top doller for these guys,first time i bought my Electic blue Dempse's i payed $110 for each...anyway enjoy it and dont worry,have fun with it!!!! oh forgot here is one
