Hey , new to the forum and have a similar set-up, I'm curious to see how this tank plays out. Once my nimbochromis species hit the 6" mark they seem to go crazy esp my fuscotaeniatus who is currently in the 20 gallon penalty box in hopes that after some time away he'll be knocked down a few notches. The only peacock I've kept long term is an otterpoint all others seem to get beaten by the larger haps. Good luck with yours. Here's few pics:

Finally pics....Man I love the fish and the set up great look. And it looks like the rocks got great growth on them...Really nice
Thanks! I have a little ways to go yet on the final amount and kinds of fish .I have a few I am really trying to find at the moment like modestus , ornatus, and polystigma, I will also be adding a chrystyi.

RDFISHGUY, that is odd... I haven't had problems with the bigger haps picking too much on the peacocks. Sure there are always a few nipped fins and such but if you get things balanced out right you really shouldn't have problems. (It does mean switching out fish till you have the right balance of aggression.)

I just got home from a week on the road and to my suprise the tank is very mellow . I guess it is just not suited for a fusco. This is the 3rd one I've tried. Nice fish just just a little too aggressive. I also removed the plants and added more rocks before I left maybe that helped everyone else find equilibrium.

And a few more.:headbang2

What is the fish in the 4th pick here. I have one of these. Was sold to me as a Crystal Red Peacock. Mine has more red than the one in the pic but when I take shots of him the pics don't do him justice so I'm sure this little guy is more colorful in person...

im gonna try and go get the fish on friday and i will post brother////the tank looks darn good and i love the aqua scapeing :D

That is what is commonly referred to as a strawberry peacock .It is a engineered fish and not from the wils but when he gets worked up look out some of the most brilliant red I have ever seen !!
