I had a adult male and female venustus in with some borleyi and redempress pairs. I was suprised at how well they got along. So a all male tank would (or should) get along even better.
I would include:
HAPS:
Venustus (nimbochromis venustus)
Borleyi (copadichromis borleyi (kandango)
Malawi eyebiter (didiochromis Compreciceps)
Red Empress (p. taeoniolis)
Taiwan Reef (p. taeoniolis)
Blue dolphin (c.moori)
placidochromis sp. tanzania
PEACOCKS:
Albino auloncara (several variety to choose from)
Auloncara species (many colors and variety to choose from)
That tank would be fantastic. Super colorful and very active. You could do all males or select some of these species to house together with male/female ratios (1 male 4 females).
Sorry for replying so late guys .Still getting used to being a daddy. If your client wants to see what a large al/hap tank would look like with all diffrent males show him my thread .
will do. Thanks for all the help. Now to find someone who can essentially guarantee gender before I buy from them. Or fork out the extra cash and get larger ones already....herm herm herm
Try dykemyster.com . Eric dyke can guarentee you males and they will not be that big (juvies) nor will they be unreasonible in price .And he ships all over the world.
Almost all my fish (well africans) are from Erik Dyke too... I actually pointed him out to malawi haps. (Good fish, good prices, if you get a large amount you get discounts plus he will often toss in extras size increases and such.)
