Working on it. I asked the guy (same guy that sold me the flower ray) to get pics from his friend that is selling them. Sadly I haven't even seen them but I trust his judgement tho I will not commit to buy until I do see them. Will let u know when I get pics
(And sorry if this sounds like a pack of BS but lend me 1500 and ill show u how real it is lol)

Hmmmm. Soooo tempting. The guy gave me two weeks to come up with the 1500 for 8" and 10" pair... grrr

$1500 is ridiculas . I bought 2 pairs three years ago at $300 per pair . Unless they are unusual quality they are worth $250 300 each if they are healthy eating and landed .

Youl have a very hard time getting anybody to ship a pair of $300 pearls from Asia plus shipping will be another $250-300. They are worth about same as marbles . Theirs tons of pearls out there they are far from rare. But wildcaught are probably the rarest rays .and theirs a massive difference in real pearls vs all the pearls out here available. Wildcaught are illegal to take . Only a few ever did make it out and theirs a few lucky people to have the real nice strain of pearls.

Aha.... I figured since I see pearls for 700 when I do come across them that a larger pair would be worth 750 each. A*uascape even has them slisted for 700. If you telling me they are suppose to be motoro prices then thank you for saving my a**. Odd that nobody else has said the same.

Aqua scape buys them for $300 or cheaper per pair .

$1500 is obsurd man . Post pics of this pair . If they are premo top quality go for it but theirs none I've seen on this forum in north America .

And if your only buying one pair local $1500 is top dollar for USA . You guys get the shaft "deservingly " lol jk
It's pretty easy to get tropical fish into canada all we need is proof of payment invoice so customs can tax us . You guys got all the fees and permits regulations ect ...
This is probably why the prices I see are so much different .

Post pics .. If they are high quality I'd pay it . But not many people in USA seem to import . You guys are kind of an isolated population . I ordered one time from USA and the fees were retarded.
So yah maybe I have not accounted for this .

A difference from $300-1500 is not much anyways if the rays are what you want buy them dont listen to me :). I'm just a Crazy Canadian . $300 is cost $1500 retail :)

Just my two cents but average pearl price is $500 a ray. If you find one any cheaper it will be a miracle here in the states. Some countries have better access to them but here in US you are up creek without a paddle. The only ones you will find are ones that are already in someones tank or if you are lucky enough to find someone that bred them. Mike sold his colony of pearls to one guy and he has yet to produce a litter. My opinion that $1500 should be more like $1000 for the pair. If you really want pearls good luck on finding them for sale. Secure some cash then through him an offer with cash in hand so he does not have a chance to think about it (:
