about the having the jar w/cichlids, it depends on how big they are. since jar's aggression is unavoidable, u better have some cichlids that are big compare to the jar, but not too big to the point that they'll kill the jar. jars are pretty timid when they're small, they get aggressive as they reach a certain length...some say 8", happened to mine at 10", however, a mix commu tank w/jar is definitely doable

75 US may be a bit high for a baby jardini for US standards, but you definitely aren't paying an asian aro price either. i don't believe you can get a green asian for just 75 US, at least not outside southeast asia. as for how much they go for in asia, i don't really know, but i highly doubt its that low (anyone please correct me if i'm wrong).
