Quick update on the lil ones. Definitely not as skittish and more interested in the pellets amd brine shrimp but still not eating or attacking the food the way im used to seeing small ones do. Gonna treat with parasite gaurd as i normally do with any new fish but inwould have liked to see them eat more before i started it.

Happy they're eating at least.

I think they're just smart fish - they know they're small and that they should hang out under cover so they don't become a snack. ;)

Can you dim the light or maybe throw something in there that floats to give them some cover from above so they feel more secure?

Tbh only reason why the dw is in there is because they may be in their for a few weeks until i can clear out some of the other tanks.

i never really provid any hides while in qt. I want to be able to inspect every inch of the fish, get them treated for IP or anything else and get them out.

I totally understand your reasoning, I just thought it might help them settle and chow down. I am just rooting so hard for these little dudes.

They already have their cute wide open eye look.

I'm rooting for you too, hoping COTA still has some of these guys in a month when I got some spare clams to spend.

Side note - is that site intentionally meant to be a rip off of Circuit of the Americas? The race track in Texas? I've gone to see a MotoGP race there and everytime I see COTA I think motorcycles. Hahaha
