I'm rooting for you too, hoping COTA still has some of these guys in a month when I got some spare clams to spend.

I would keep checking on rapps. Cota 100$ min order is just annoying especially when my initial order was 96 and it became a problem over 4 bucks.... plus these fish aremt 1 inch... maybe a few but i would say half are near .5 inches

I doubt all 10 will make it anyway. Already starting to see the dominant ones bully. Size isnt a factor

Thanks for the heads up. I actually emailed Jeff directly and he said he was going to be looking for some while he's in Guatemala this month. He's the man.

Stories like this and others I've heard have seriously made me feel uncomfortable ordering from COTA.

Lol i had the same convo with jeff....4 bucks and dan had the nerve to say it was under his 100 min order. If he werent the only one with hets right now i wouldnt have placed the order.

Would they grow faster in a larger tank? Or do you guys think they will grow at their normal slow, but not stunted, pace in a grow out tank? Would a group of 6-10 be okay in a 75 for a little while?

My 5 are in a 55 for now. I do 30 to 50% changes usually at least twice per week. Just keep an eye on nitrates and adjust your water changes as necessary.

How big where they when you got them ? How big now ? From cota right ?
