I thawed mine out in warm water and dropped them in one by one. Don't have to break chunks off, they aren't that big.

well good news.. my occel ate 2 of the silversides 
but it was kinda wierd because none of my other bass would even touch them haha. but atleast i have food for all my fish to eat until i can get all of them hitting off the top.. i like the idea of stuffing pellets into the food and getting them used to the taste and texture
