A friend of mine lately had his dog decided it didn't like its
eukanuba dog food any more.
His Oscars have been eating it for quite a while now.
They love it and seem to be doing well.

As for the pellets - HIKARI has never let me down. Tetra pellets tend to distiengrate and mess up the water.

For the fish too large for fish pellets (which means most of my lungfish) I get them cheap dog food or cat food. $5 10-pound bags. Fish food doesn't get cheaper than that lol

Exact same experience.

I ran out of Spectrum once and got Haikari and it took about a week before they would eat it.

Ohh well, every fish is different. I guess the final choice goes to them if they don't want it, they don't eat it. Money and nutritional value means nothing to a fish

I have to agree. Starve em' long enough and they will eat just about anything however.
