Pellets for Senegal bichir?

My senegal mostly eats sinking carnivore pellets and pieces of shrimp. He will eat other kinds of sinking pellets as well. On a few rare occasions he has eaten flake food that I was feeding my gourami.

my 12'' senegal likes to eat hikari gold. I have 2 younger senegal about 5'' that will eat flakes though..

my new ornate finally ate some pellets: hikari sinking carnivore pellets (are they just a smaller version of the massivore pellets?) i think my BGK ate some, too. neither still wont touch cheapo shrimp pellets...oh, well. dern aro wont eat anything but live, lol

IME, sens take to prepared foods faster than any other species. So far, my laps are the mos stubborn.

I still haven't been able to get a decent video of my 12" endli eating hikari gold, hopefully soon though.

well i thought it ate one of those pellets, but now i'm not so sure. i did see it take one yesterday and spit it out.
