I was interested in getting some a new filter for my 20gal long. I know the dimensions of the filter are 15in long but i was curious if anyone has any experience fitting two of that size tank.
yea i have always used the penguin 350 and also have a emperor 400, but i really like the cascade 300, you can adjust water flow during feeding time, it is super quiet, and they are cheap, like 30$ and they do 300gph same as the penguin 350. but i like both products i just know i am happy i got the cascade 300 and gave them the shot.Well currently it houses three feeder goldfish from my cousin. I typically use this tank as a quarantine for my much larger saltwater system. However, i would like to hatch a baby bamboo or coral catshark in this tank this summer. Also I believe in always over killing filtration. I've heard the emperor 400s are slightly better, but the penguin 350 is almost half the price so i could get 2 for just a bit more. Also, i have never used the cascade 300, I've had more experience with the bio-wheels. Current filter on the tank is a tetra whisper i had laying around, which IMO are kind of crappy.
i don't i know that the arm that goes in the water you can adjust inch for inch i think it goes down up to like 8 inches or 10 inches they do not have the double flow this is what they look like http://www.petsolutions.com/C/Aquarium-Power-Filters/I/Cascade-Power-Filter.aspx its just the new school type of filter, looks cheap only because it is see through
