Hi all, recently picked up an alligator gar, roughly 4 inches. Already have a Florida gar as well. My set up is a 125. I’m looking at pulling the trigger on a pentaire fiberglass tank. Either the 270, or the 600. Depending on how fast I get my “shop/garage” insulated and the plumbing and hvac setup. What are the reviews? I can get both cheaper than a large glass tank. But the 600 won’t fit in the basement so I may buy the 270 to hold the gar over until the shops done. Let me know!

To add I’m well aware a 600 isn’t enough for the gar. But the the shop takes alot of time and I need a break before building the pond/tank in it. Gotta maintain family time

SandNukka15 SandNukka15 has or had one, I believe. There were some chipping issues if I remember correctly.
I did have chipping issues on both my 270 and 600. But im assuming it was from my rays. It was minor chipping and the tanks still held up well.
