these kind of people drive me crazy. I love the environment too, but there should also be a balance about letting people take out the excess as well so they can also have jobs and allowing more room for trees to thrive.

Remember the big CA wild fires where acres and acres of forests burned up because we weren't allowed to logged it off. Great, guess letting it all burn up and go to the atmosphere is alot better huh? not to mention all the damages to people's lives and animal's habitats actually being destroyed for real.

Sorry for the rant, but that's been bugging me for years now.
 
when i was collecting sand for my tank at a local beach, some lady asked me what i was doing so i told her and her only response was "cool, that's really neat" haha, luckily i wasn't harassed

These natural wildfires are actually necessary for some of the tree species, as the seeds in the ground won't germinate until exposed to fire.

i fortunately live in the middle of a swamp where no one's around to hear you scream, or see you take some rocks.
 
i don't know how natural it can be when the fires were in the northern most of the state and have ash drifting down to Sunnyvale at the bay area. Besides, I thought it was kind of funny that none of those environmental types were crying about the air pollution not to mention the tons of co2 being released into the atmosphere then.

oh yeah, assault with deadly weapon(s) def. can be a downer and especially over some stupid environmental radicals.

I think your response was totally appropriate, just walk away with a smile and probably a one hand salute to them when they weren't looking and you were driving away.
