I was pissed when I got a door ding. I can't imagine how that feels.
 
yah sadly I am looking at more x__X its my fav. car and I really want my car back. I dont like automatic, I like the body style the roominess and the hatch back. The civic hatches are ok, but not enough room in them for my hobbies. I found alot of nice ones and obviously the first thing that would be done is alarm, detachable steering wheel with key locks, kill switch etc.

I just dont know if its a good idea to get one now or not and it sucks b/c thats the car I want and I like and I dont want to not be able to own one just b/c some ******* wants to take my car.
 
as a police officer that makes many stolen vehicle recoveries, I would start your insurance paperwork, because after "they" have had it for any length of time, YOU DONT WANT IT BACK, TRUST ME! But hopefully the scum that took it will be caught driving it and get their time in jail......sorry, I know you are frustrated right now...
 
My dad had a little trick that he used on his old, meavily modified VW Beetle that he had while in college that will keep people from stealing it. Not sure if it will work on new cars though. But here's what you do;

You buy an extra car battery and an industrial guage coil wire. Hook up the cables to the body of the car and wire an on-off switch to a non-metal part of the car. Car theif gets 12 volts of pain when he touches the car.

what if a non-thief touches you car? SUED!!!
 
In FL i am pretty sure they would call that booby trapping and its illegal :( If I could Id put a self det. device in it and then blow it up when someone takes it. :irked:
