I understand what you're saying, but unless YOU're going to flip the bill to rehabilitate people the right way, it's the next best thing!!
sounds like more violent rhetoric to me . i understand the fear pandering the gun crowd(I'M assuming your pro 2nd amenndment)loves to quote but what if the tables where turned and thought YOU were the one who needed to be thinned out ,for WHATEVER REASON ,jails are a much saner solution to society's ills dont you think

+1

Pardon me for being ignorant, but could you clear up what the term rhetoric means? As far as the 2nd Amendment goes, (im guessing thats the right to bear arms amendment) I have very little feelings on the subject, Ive never owned a gun beyond a bb gun, never cared for a gun, never needed one, dont want a gun. I think peopl should have the right to have them, but thats about it, if the tables were turned on me, I ask myself a few honest questions, possibly prepare to defend myself and thats about it, the last thing Id do is compare myself to a serial killer, and complain about the ills of society.

When you are a repeat sex offender or committing violent crimes your thoughts, feelings, and life are no longer relevant and your personal actions have dictated that you need to be eradicated.

under a jail is a good place, but do you really need to kill em to make it right ,you cant UN -MOLEST somone, kinda like trying to unring a bell.and if you want to talk about cost its cheaper to keep people in general pop. than all the special expenses of death row anyway. also, do the 'herd thinners '' qualify?

Why should we pay to keep these people around? Keep in mind bbortko said REPEAT offenders, which means no, " well we cant be sure blah blah blah" junk.

I feel that the millions of dollars wasted on inmates that are serving life with no parole could be spent on things that would benefit those that of us who haven't committed such terrible times. Look at two of the must important building blocks of a nation, education and infrastructure, both are horribly under funded and are falling apart.

the simple answer is why are you in charge of his penalty, the supreme court allows for the death penalty in murder cases.how many times have we found out the evidence was wrong ....if the answer is even once ,thats too many, executing leaves no room for user error(juries)once again what if YOUwere the one that needed thinning(according to some nutcase)they cant make you undead.but you can be released from jail .as far as repeat sex-offenders jail without release is ok with me and if you REALLY had to flip the switch on ole sparky instead of talking hypothetical "bad guys"you might not be so anxious to violence.

the amount of money spent on prisoner care is TINY compared to the money given in TAX breaks to the oil companies ALONE each year all while they make record profits the money angle just doesnt fly in reality ...just more rhetoric I dont dis agree about schools and general infrastrture being underfunded but thers a lot of more profitable places to stsrt looking
