This isn't meant to put you down but the bible was voted on what to put in there hence my distrust for organsied religion, don't get me wrong I still believe in a god, its just the whole hell thing is kinda funny to me its like walking around holding a gun to a guys head and telling him to be good

clearly you do not understand what organized religion is for that was not what determined which books would go into the canon of the bible. The term "canon" is used to describe the books that are divinely inspired and therefore belong in the Bible. The difficult aspect of determining the Biblical canon is that the Bible does not give us a list of the books that belong in the Bible. Determining the canon was a process, first by Jewish rabbis and scholars, and then later by early Christians. Ultimately, it was God who decided what books belonged in the Biblical canon. A book of Scripture belonged in the canon from the moment God inspired its writing. It was simply a matter of God convincing His human followers which books should be included in the Bible.

being perfect means entirely without any flaws, defects, or shortcomings.

when adam and eve disobeyed god (sinned) they lost there purity and innocents and sin’s effects permeate everything, and the suffering we see all around us is a direct result of that sin.

why would they disobey if they have no flaws, defects, or shortcomings? why would they get talked into making a sin if they were perfect?

But they had free will, and they did not know evil as you and i do, but god gave a command " But of the tree of knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day you eat of it you shall surely die" gen 2:17. satan is the master of deception. so he tempted eve as the seprent and said "...you will not surely die, for god knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be open and you will be like god, knowing good and evil" -gen 3:4-5, she picked the fruit and adam ate of the tree.

If they do they are either a hypocrite or in need of guidence because they dont know what they are doing.

not all books where inspired by god, yes there where other books and there are many legends and rumors of “lost” books, but there is no truth whatsoever to these stories. Every book that God intended and inspired to be in the Bible is in the Bible.There are literally hundreds of religious books that were written in the same time period as the books of the Bible. Some of these books contain true accounts of things that actually occurred (1 Maccabees for example). Some of them contain good spiritual teaching (the Wisdom of Solomon for example). However, these books are not inspired by God. If we read any of these books, the Apocrypha as an example, we have to treat them as fallible historical books, not as the inspired, inerrant Word of God.
