Possible, wouldnt take much for the hicks to press theft charges on the guy. They did spread the whole thing out on the net here. That really could have been a much uglier ending, lesson is don't over react to when people do bone head things on the road such as cutting you off in traffic.
Completely staged. That was a northern accent. Canadian almost. The dialog was totally set up, why would the wife fade the scene at the end? Why would they keep filming it? If you are scared or angry enough to have to pull a gun and point it at someone, then you would be angry enough to smash that camera in front of them. A budget beemer, but still not too cheap, that guy could obviously buy one himself, he acted like it was a million dollars he just recieved. This was completely fake.
I heard a story that happened up here in New England recently when this man cut off some woman in traffic. There was an old man that wasn't too happy and chased the guy down until he stopped. The old man proceeded by shooting the guy in the chest with a flipping bow and arrow, and killing him. Off topic but just goes to show how crazy people can get on the road.
That would have been great if it was real, but if it was real why would it have been taped? Hicks in a brand new Toyota, so many faults that show it was staged, come on nice try. They could be eligible for a daytime emmy though, great acting..............
You obviously have no real world experience with hicks. Being a hick/redneck is a culture now... Even wealthy people and/or their kids become hick. Most wannabe hicks have new trucks, and a decent job. They just dress trashy and like the idea of being a poor redneck.
