perseid meteor shower

Too much light... And CLOUDS!!!! I see Mars though To the South of me ... But been seeing Mars for a couple weeks now..

3am,i see stars,and i see mars,and i hear bats,but no shower

I have seen this from 10,000 feet altitude while hiking the High Sierra wilderness, perfect visibility, it is quite spectacular.

I live at 8900, close enough, I'm going outside...

well its 530 and finally got to see some.
i seen 5 but i think one or two were shooting stars.
one of the meteors had a long trail,and the trail stayed in the sky for a few seconds.was really cool.
going to try for a few more

forgot to say the 5 i seen were in a 15 min period.
just looked for another 15 min and didnt even see one.
guess those 5 were the peak

yeah i didnt see any..there were to many lights and didnt feel like driving to the reservoir again

I saw like 5 also....I was omly outside in doses though. I will find some links about the shower on the 1st of sept ...The best is yet to come!!
