I had to call him that, it is the way his face collapses when he eats he looks so much like an old man with no teeth.

with the exception of ehiem,I hate canister filters. :irked:
My fish flat out refuse to eat most hbh foods.
Any ph adjustment chemicals sold at pet shops, cause more trouble and fish death for newbies than just about anything else.

well i'll send you the crap eheims i've used....give me my fluvals hands down every time.

i'll agree on wardley's shrimp pellets, man what a mess they just dissolve near instantly.

We are now have now had 3 run away heaters resulting in at least 6 dead fish including a 10" black ghost knife who was growing awesomely.

so wait, the heaters actually ran away? now that's impressive. now if you could only get your landlords car to do that you'd be set.

I'd have to say any filters with replaceable cartridges. pond flake foods 'Great for small koi" great for cloudy water is more like it:irked:

Im a little more than angry with Marineland for 2 of 6 heaters failing in the first 9 months (ALL 6 visi therm stealths) one failing almost instantly now my most recent one failed in 9 months nearly killing but definitely stressing 400 dollars worth of fish.

ditto as I created a thread- killed my exilis catfish :irked:

was so upset at first then ran over the heater with my car as theres no point into asking for refund nor product replacement

Tertatec EX2400 filters.

I picked one up second hand and it was like having a loud microwave constantly running in the living room, so I called Tetra on the off chance they could do something and they agreed to send me an entire new motor head! (can't fault the customer service to be fair) but this one is just as noisy. I have tried all of the usual tricks, even tried lubricating the impeller with vaseline which just ended up floating on my tank water :screwy: (no fish were harmed) so I just have to accept it is a noisy filter and wait until I can afford to get a quiet one.

Well I'm busy eating bacon sandwiches... yumm

Its really great you mentioned that about the nutrafin max as i was planning on buying some for my big SA/CA cichlids. I may try predator sticks now, anyone use these?

Also the comment about the elite heaters. Elite as far as i know is made by Hagen. You have me worried now, i have 2 300watt elite heaters in my 240gal with my trimac, a fish fairly rare around here. Took me along time to find him, i don't want fish stew, so far so good.

Anyone use those new digital heaters? I also use a really nice Rena heater on my 75gal seems bomb proof.

My favorite thing is my digital temp indicator, comes in handy. I like plastic plants aslong as they look realistic, my fish would destroy real plants, and i am a snail hater.

One of my biggest petpeeves are the large display stones(nice and all but 7.99 for a rock) ? Id rather go out and find stones and due the good old vinegar test on them.

I hate the Wardley Ich brand medicine. I followed the dosing instructions to the letter and it did nothing!!!!!!!!F AAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH
