im doing the same thing with my rio metas that i did with my perus, if i get lucky i will get a pair out of them too, then i would like some kels but there impossible to find down here

How do you tell when a pair has formed?? I think that would be awesome to breed orinos...or any other bass. Just to raise my own cichla is my dream.

you will know when a pair forms, keep them together until they start to sexually mature, then if any are gonna pair, it will most likely happen around this time in my exp, but i wouldn't dought it could happen later too

but like i said you will know when it happens, they will always be together, sleep together, constantly flirt and show off for each other, etc, like horny teens lol
