Pet octopus?

I saw one in a shop years ago and was told that they did not even order it,it came in a rock shipment.I was amazed to actually see a real live one in a shop but was also a little sad as the thing looked to be in bad shape.

Yes sad knowing the shop probably didn't no how to care for it.

This was a bit before the advent of the internet and it's wealth of information but the shop was the best in the area as far as selection and everything else(too bad it's closed now)none of the staff seemed to be too interested the in wellbeing of the animal.

Other reasons include the recovery of the sea otter populations. As the number of sea otters increases, the number of shellfish species impacted come under additional strain.
