lol ah, no. theres maybe 2 or 3 people on this forum that have kept pimas privately in a proper tank/pond. not quite a few.

keep the pima in a 50 gal for a year im sure it wont grow. but might die early.
my friend kept a jardini in a 10 gal for a year. it grew to about 6"
later on another friend took it and put it in a 100+ gal. it never grew LOL
 
Someone was selling one that was 12" that had very slow or non existant growth before. Not sure if that was a permanent stunt or if the fish would eventually grow or what..

I think the real story is though that the 'pimas are feeders for the new in the hobby predatory goldfish.. :uhoh:
