Pet Store Mishaps

Have you ever gone to your LFS or Pet Store to pick up some supplies gone to the counter and paid for the items in your basket but when you returned home and checked the bill you realised that something wasnt quite right, they had either over-charged you or under-charged you. So today I went to the LFS (i wont provide a name) to pick up some supplies and return a broken heater. i expected to pay around $50.00 for everything but the total came up to about 20.00 i didnt think much of it because they had a boxing week sale on. when i went through the bags when i got home the bill would have ran me well over $75.00
turns out i got a free Ebo-jager heater and a bunch of other free stuff im not complaning usually they short-change me at that store and ive never complained so its about time i got something back from them. Anyone else have similar stories they would like to share be it mishaps or good fortune.
 
One time I brought in about 25 convict fry and the new kid there gave me $40 worth of fish FREE! It was AWSOME lol.

Good for you, but bad for the cashier...At the end of every cashier's shift, the manager always tallies up the sells and returns for each drawer....I use to be an assist manager for Ross Dress for Less...I did this same thing over and over, everyday, checking the money...Even "over paid" drawers would get in trouble(three stikes your out)...
 
My LFS is always good to me. They gave me one of my favorite fish for free becuase he was "damaged" He is all healed up now and is awesome!

Ya last night at Petco, srry RM but thats were my gift card was for, I much prefer petsmart. Anyhow all the frozen food is buy 2 get one free, so I got 3x blood worms at 4.49 and 3x brine shrimp at 5.99. well the way i see it I should get one of each free, right. Well they seen I different and I got 2x blood worms free, cheaten me outa $1.50:irked: So I told em to take the Brine shrimp of the ticket. Well they did and I still got 2x blood worms for free. So it was a buy 1 and get 2 free:naughty:
 
I went to petsmart and asked for a Burmese Botia, they list at 19.99 I asked the girl at the front counter to bag one, and was going to show her, she said "I know which one!" (Snotty). She bagged the right fish but put the wrong SKU on the bag, got it for $3.99

BIG ALS IS FAMOUS FOR THAT . overcharging and under charging . i think once the girls at the check out know you and you joke with them and talk , you get alot more under charged stuff . not that i am complaining . know i have wrote this it probably wont happen again . lol lol

Really, I am going to try that out. I usually don't check my receipts unless something goes wrong. I will be more vigilant from now on.
