OMG I just read the "Sea Kitten" stories... OMFG they're effing disturbing! What's effing wrong with effing PETA?

SEA KITTEN FACTS:
A University of Edinburgh study found that sea kittens can retain information that they learned up to 11 months earlier, which makes them cuter and smarter than the president of the United States!
Sea kittens talk to each other through squeaks, squeals, and other low-frequency sounds that humans can only hear through special instruments. Most ichthyologists—scientists who specialize in sea kitten biology—agree that this is just about the cutest thing ever.
Like their surface-dwelling cousins, the land kittens, sea kittens enjoy being petted. Their lack of arms makes it difficult for them to pet back, but they often gently rub against each other as a sign of affection.

This is the most retarded organzation ever that contradicts itself. Yeah I am peta I want to help the animals in the petstore so I am going to burn them in protest.
It would be nice to if they would use their "passion for animals" and actually do something about something already.
First of all i only support the People Eating Tasty Animals PETA. This is just another way to make money and get time on TV, radio, and even here on MFK because then people will search about this and they get more money. Im suprised they havent taken up anything with our forum or others like it because were "Monster Sea Kitten Keepers". This plan is to get them in the news. good and bad media both pay their fabulous vacations and upper class lives. I say that all funding should be immediately removed and everyone should shut them out because if we acknowledge them we are paying them!!! Im 17 and like many others here i believe in ethical treatment of animals but not the slaughter of them.

first off, let me state that i am a wildlife major at humboldt state university, and my boyfriend is about to graduate as a marine fisheries major at humboldt state as well (if that doesnt mean anything to you, then look it up). i fell that as an upper division wildlife student i have more of an "animal education" than anyone at PETA. if you read my profile, you will see the fish and animals i keep, so i feel justified in saying that PETA is full of ****, doesnt follow real science and doesnt know anything about fish. which is pretty much what everyone else has said. but i read all of the posts and no one mentioned WHITEFISH HIGH SCHOOL
PETA is actually trying to get a high school renamed. they want the school to go from Whitefish High to Sea Ktten High

If I went to a high school called "Sea Kitten High"... IDK what anymore. PETA is getting wackier every day.
