My friend became vegan after watching a PETA video. She lectured me for a good long time about how the vegan diet is the best one for ppl. And how studies showed ppl who had certain cancers got rid of it bc of a vegan diet. (No offense to anyone who is vegan.)
I'm a huge animal lover, and I can't stand PETA. I already had a million reasons why I don't like them, and then when my friend started in with the whole vegan lecture...it just added one more reason why i dont like them lol.

Oh yeah...and she was the first person I told when I tried the atkins diet lol. She didn't like it one bit.

This being a general animal enthusiast site, you would think there is some support for animal rights? Or does animal rights impede on your dietary and fashion desires?

Oh ok then...so obesity isn't a problem in the U.S. I must have misread that somewhere.

Eating meat isn't the sole cause of obesity. It has MUCH more to do with sedintary life styles and processed foods. I've lost weight this year by eating less processed foods with bleached flour and eating more protein like delicious cows, chickens and pigs.

Would you rather live in a house all your life and be well fed with an artificial light over your head or be allowed to get your own food and go whereever you please?

That's kind of how I live now And there is very little chance something will eat me! So I guess my view is skewed on this one

Monza, Italy, banned the keeping of goldfish in bowls... because, as one sponsor of the law pointed out, bowls give fish “a distorted view of reality.”

What about bow front tanks. Should we worry about future laws?

We aren't meant to be vegetarians, we are omnivores.

Can you survive with nothing but your bare hands? YES...but the only meat you will be eating is something already dead.
