The thing is that if you support animal welfare, there are other groups th that also fight for this cause. If you think PETA is the only one doing it, then look around. It seem like half of PETA supporters come from ignorant people that think PETA is the only group that concern animal welfare... when PETA is more about animal rights.

they are completely rediculous..and shouldnt do wat they do..i could do a better job with just me...they take everything to an extreme...all they do is get arrested ..

As Dennis Leary said

"For every hundred tuna caught a dolphin get caught in the nets! Well, what about the frigging tuna!?!" ;)

You don't see Paul McCartney having save the cockroches rallies...Peta uses animal "cuteness" to sway public opinion.

And they use people's fear of herptiles and arthropods to ban the "exotic " pets.

This is not relevant to the discussion of exotic husbandry and or captive care.... moving this out.

I hate PETA.. My friend is a vegitarian and we are both all for animal rights, but PETA is just completely retarded. My LFS was telling me that even if a feeder dies and the PETA members in my area sees it they're on the LFS a**. I'm against PETA and you know that #99 thing about the monkey? Yeah the monkey is dead why are they still printing those stupid stickers. I'm done ranting on how STOOP!D some people can be..

Wow... the options can go either way because of how the question is stated.

The agenda of many Humane Societies and animal rights group is messed up.

I am all for animal WELFARE, but not for animal rights.

I totally agree, they shouldn't have rights...

While I love to eat meat I do believe that a lot of what they do is great.

That primate's condition is more of a concern for animal welfare, than animal rights.

People get animal rights and welfare mixed up.
