Petco $1 per gallon sale again - June 29 to July 12

I picked up another 40g breeder on Sunday. When I removed the fake background it left all the tape/adhesive inside the tank. I tried scraping it off with my finger nail but no luck. Any ideas on how to remove it?????

Yep these are the Tetra tanks. Ive had my 40B set up for a few months and no issues.


I got the tetra lid for my 40B from Petco. But if you need a glass top you might as well do the Petsmart $2 per gallon sale. It comes with the top/hod light combo. On the 40B that is a glass top and a cheap fluorescent light (I think it even comes with a tube)

The tetra lid is just plastic? How much did it run you?

Just picked up a 40B today. It comes with a free tetra filter if you use the rebate. Are these filters any good?

Im fighting for the last rebate. They said my 'upc was not included or was a copy'. I had cut it out with a razor and peeled it off so I still could keep the filter in the box as a back up. I emailed tetra since I have no way to produce an original upc since I sent it in already. Will see what they will do about it...

I bought the EX30 to use on a 20L. Have not set it up yet so cant tell you how it works but if I get my rebate it was like $7 for the filter so I cant complain.

The worker at petco was like just send this in and they send you a free filter. When I got to the car I read more closely and it says buy a filter and you get a rebate. I am debating if it is worth trying to buy the filter and send in both receipts. I got the 20l last year and it has been working great.
