My boyfriend just ordered me the Marineland double-bright LED lights 36-48" last night for the 40g Breeder I'm hoping to get tomorrow. I'm super excited! We were debating between the Double brights or the "Reef Capable," but decided to go with the DB seeing as it's less than half the cost (if not less) with approx. the same Lumen output as the 24-36" Reef lights. Now I just need to find a good hood!

I bought one of these for my 40B too. I haven't tested it w/ water in it, but it's plenty (maybe too much for what I need?) for the shallow 40B. The Reef lights weren't out yet when I purchased mine.

Yeah, my lights are supposed to come in on the 11th! I'm super excited! I just filled my tank and set up the sand and new filter. Hopefully I'll get all the old filters and my fish into the tank by tomorrow!

I was at my local Petco on Sunday and they had a 55g bow front tank for $55. Was tempting but they didn't have stands for it or lids and that stuff would probably be more then a non bow tank. But just letting you all know that tank was included at my local store.

I came up last time the had this sale. I bought a 50 gallon tank and never used it. Then I returned it to the store and when the worker scanned the tank I got it for full price. Ended up buying stuff a new filter, some rocks and dog food. Still have a pet co gift card for 40 something bucks. Might be tempted to do it again ... lol.
