You should live up to your sig..

Nothing wrong with getting lucky once in awhile in this dog eat dog world we live in.

As for my sig .... It's a line from American Gangster. A film based on the life of Frank Lucas notorious drug king pen. I like it because even though he was doing what was perceived to be wrong by society. He instilled in himself the qualities that society perceives as right.

the only way to get ahead in this world is to take advantage of every opportunity. That can be the difference in life or death, from makin 100k a yr to 150. Not to mention if a company/buisness isn't smart enough to cover their own ass when it comes to returns on sale items thats their loss. Nothing wrong with capitalizing on others stupidity.

There is everything wrong with intentionally being deceitful and taking advantage. Do you suppose if you presented your sales receipt with it when you returned it that you would have been able to rip them off.

So far as your signature perhaps you give reference as to who it is from or where it is from, that way it will not seem like your words just a thought.

Here is a quote for you "You can sell you soul for a penny, but, can not buy it back for the world!"

So since you have no issue with ripping off a store, get ready for when a bigger dog comes over to eat you and remember you planted the seed to reap the harvest. ;)

I just have a different way of thinking.. I normally don't take the path of least resistance.. just not my style.. I don't take every opportunity that presents its self, to make a gain.. Not that you guys do.

Annnnnnnd back to the topic...

I got a 40b and am feelin a little bummed that my store didn't have a 55 bow front... like someone else mentioned... but I'm gonna have some fun with this one anyway.. :D

I actually did present my receipt and also signed the refund ticket which included my name, address and etc. Maybe the store manager wanted to hook me up but again nothing wrong with "good fortune" once in awhile.

As for the big dog, I think your referring to karma. I'm a strong believer in karma and run a few small time volunteer programs in the my local neighborhood. Buying and then giving winter coats to the homeless on skid row, handing out old or traded players jerseys to the homeless during summer from my business (What's Hatnin .... Shameless Plug for my Sports Jersey business). Not to mention donated a few of my smaller fish tanks to local elementary schools so the kids could learn about fishing keeping. No request for tax write offs or any type of kick back. Just because I know how hard it can be to live on this dirt rock we call planet earth.

So before you judge someone you might want to meet the man or least give the benefit of the doubt.

Props to you Fishmamma for being a better person then me.

What do you plan to do with it?

Perhaps when you post you should give up full details such as your last post.

And for your information talking to someone face to face on a fish forum as has been the case here is not judging friend it is conversing!!!!

Perhaps just perhaps if you gave full details about your transaction you might not be misunderstood rather than posting it up like you are a shyster who paid $1/g but then took the tank back and got full price value for it.

Just imagine if you had taken the time to add "I actually did present my receipt and also signed the refund ticket which included my name, address and etc. Maybe the store manager wanted to hook me up but again nothing wrong with "good fortune" once in awhile." to your first post then maybe you would not have been taken wrong.

Hmmmmm you neglect to give those details and take exception when people call you to task when your post and your signature do not match up.

When I first read what you wrote initially this was my concern: There are a lot of youngins on this site.. and after reading what you said.. what do you think many peope youngins and not youngins are going to do? Some stuff is just left better unsaid... and to be honest with you, I probably need to take my own advice sometimes... it was just my reaction.. didn't mean to stir anything up.. ok, so lets all be nice to each other now.. k

If I knew that I was going to put on trial in the fish tank court of law I would of done so lol. Again my sig is a line from a movie that I liked. But thanks for the feedback and going forward I will make sure my posts have the content required for conversing. No harm no foul just good ole conversation .... your right.

Fishmamma
Your right never thought about the youngins on the site. I'm always nice, most days at least.
