Never been a huge fan of Cichla but I have never seen a hump like that on one before. Do you have more pictures of HIM? Does that hump lean to the left? It does not look centered in that picture. Could be just the pic making it look that way.

I completely agree with you fishmanbob. iv heard of only on super rare occasions a petco getting cichla in but i hope one day we will get lucky cuz you cant beat 10 bucks for any cichla whether its a hybrid or a mono or ocell. Id buy a few for sure.
I wasnt going to buy any new fish but for a 10 dollar cichla I think I'd make a exception. I guess chain store are alright sometimes.
