PETCO SUCKS!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
if there are places to hid they will be fine...I was in Petsmart once and saw an albino kenyi... crazy cool, but they girl did not see a price for it so she decided even though itwas in a tank that was all 4.99 it should be 15.99... since the large mix was that much... I was like umm... not for a kenyi, even albino...

i saw a tank with convicts and it had a big severum with them.
and on the tank it had a sign saaying EVERYTHING in tank 2 for $10
I'm like yer ill have the severum and some random convict.
they're like everythig except the severum.
then i said it says EVERYTHING.
faulty advertising much?
stupid shops

would u say there are enough places for them to hide in my tank?

More, smaller rocks to make more holes and caves. If you don't have a LFS you can order online. Petco & petsmart, like said eariler, is what it is. They try to sell everything w/o really specializing in one department. If you have problems w/them stop buying their stuff. I am in the boat of supporting LFS and not the big box shops. For some it is not an option and to those people I say QT. I buy my dog food at a Petsupplieplus and always look in their tanks. I have yet to see a fish that I really want or need. The tanks don't look that good and the fish not any better. That said, it just comes down to them being understaffed or undereducated and having a nice fish department. They have a lot of balls in the air over there, so evrything can't be looking good all the tme.

o_o if it was $4 thats pretty cheap anywho the petco down here are awesome they get in pretty good fish, they have an oddball section with awesome fish and i ve never paid more then $5 for anything I bought there =] rams to fronts =]

my petco is really small though. they don't have a lot of anything really. they just got in some freshwater knife fish that look pretty cool, but they only stock one at a time and i can't get those anyways because my cichlids would tear it up. ;)
