Both are semi-aquatic and have really interesting ways of catching their prey. The mole uses its tentacles to identify food by touch underwater, much like the duck-billed platypus uses its bill. The tentacled snake takes advantage of fishes' lateral line and "C response" to danger; they twitch a coil of the body to chase the fish right into their mouth.
