The mole would be interesting to have in a set up where you could watch as it makes it's way through it's labyrinth of tunnels....especially if it stays at a small size.

this was already done by a member with a shrew I believe. they are just too hyper active to keep up with feeding and with cleaning their environment.

There are freshwater jellyfish...this comes closer to your "tentacles" than the slugs or snails I think. Ha

I think I recall that project now that you've mentioned it.

caecilians...cool...but I think they would get boring. (Then again, think about how wild and crazy a freshwater jelly would seem after days of doing nothing but swimming aimlessly)

Tentacled snakes...dont think these exist. Im willing to bet you are talking about another amphibian.

Bryozoans. That...is more boring than a freshwater jellyfish. :D

Starnosed moles. Definitely have no tentacles.

Prepare to be enlightened, my ignorant friend:

The mole's most distinctive feature is a circle of 22 mobile, pink, fleshy tentacles at the end of the snout, from which they derive their name.

Erpeton is a genus of water snake of the family Colubridae, which includes a single known species, the Tentacled Snake, Erpeton tentaculatum. They are aquatic and extremely fast in catching their prey, small fish.

Both are semi-aquatic and have really interesting ways of catching their prey. The mole uses its tentacles to identify food by touch underwater, much like the duck-billed platypus uses its bill. The tentacled snake takes advantage of fishes' lateral line and "C response" to danger; they twitch a coil of the body to chase the fish right into their mouth.

Lmao...that reminded me of SNL's Point and Counter point.

I was aware that they had a "bushy" snout. I would describe a tentacle as an appendage though. Just me. Same story with the snake really...I wouldnt describe those as tentacles. Hope I didnt come across as an "ignorant slut". :D

Ignorant slut,my goodness...
