I went by my local Petsmart last night.. They have really let the place go, all kinds of dead fish with fungus growing on them. There was even fungus all over the decor. I'm not talking about a little bit of fungus.. Everything was covered as if it had not been cleaned in over a couple of weeks.
people at my petsmart are RETARDS. it takes 5 people to bag 12 rosies and its a clean store but the people there only know what the lable says about the fish.
PICS PLEASE!!!!!! nICE STEAL!!..I HEARD WALMART was selling peacock bass a while back labeled as something weird....

it was an accident on the wholesaler, I always got those fish for free from petsmart because mine wouldn't sell them, but for some reason they could give them away?
but an employee showed me their list of fish and they get new ones every ~3 months or something and they only get them in individual tanks, so they know all the fish they get in.
Like they had bolivian rams, and now they have trimacs...those are the managers choice fish because they are only there for a limited time. So it would have had to be in one of those managers choice tanks.
If they had really gotten the rtc it woulda had a price tag that said red tailed catfish because corpo steve ceo of poopsmart woulda sent out UPCs to all the stores in advance.
But anyway, I am glad to see that it is going to a decent home! kudos

All this means is some idiot will sell a RTC to some uninformed customer along with his 20gal long tank, believing it will be good for the life of the fish.
