Petsmart "Red Texas"

Local Petsmart finally had more RT in so I grabbed 2 of them. They don't quite look RT to me, kinda hoping they might be Kamfa but they are too stressed out tell. Ones kinda meh and the other has some thick silk pearling. The tanks cloudy because of the salt I added but will get better pics when it clears and the fish settle.

Does anyone ever come out with a red colored Texas like the ones I see on google?

As far as I know no, out the actual Red Texas I have seen come from them are nothing special.

Even though they are getting Kamfa mixed with the fish they do have Red Texas being shipped out I really would like to know who the wholesaler is that supplying them with the Flowerhorn and Red Texas.

I had 4 rt from petsmart . Sadly I had to return em cuz I was trying to get my gts to spawn but mine were brownish red as they did grow they got more red as they got older

Hey chris has your gotten the redish orange ish fins yet? I was looking closer at mine and noticed them jjust at the tips but goes away?

just picked a nice 3" flowerhorn from them today for 27 bucks and it was well spent it is beautiful
