Okay so I'm a fish geek now!!!

Heres the story. I go used to petsmart 3-4 times a week. Well this one time I was setting up my third tank. So I had been buy alot of supplys(never spend less than $50 everytime I went) Well this one week I had spent over three hundred. I went in to buy some Feeders for my 18 inch silver arowana.( I always buy 100 feeders and quarentine them) I had been also buying the little fire belly toads as feeder($4.99 each). Well this time the little *@$#@ employee heard me talking to a friend that I had on the phone that I was going to feed it to my arowana. Well the little*@$#@ ran and told the manager and they would sell me the toad. After all the money I spent with them they would sell me a fricken froggy....So I just left and said they would never see any more of my business.

P.S. Petsmart Sucks and dude who was listening to my phone conversation needs his $@#t Split.

They were proly lookin out for ya. I once had to boot a friend of a friend from my bar, cause they were under age. I bet he is a cool guy outside of work. Loose lips sink ships unfortunately.

i have been price matching big als and today some short fat dude told me i could. i jsut sent a email to them and saying all this ****

OH Yeah I forgot about the price matching....Well a couple a people on this forum and another have told me about the price matching and about a coupon that I download that was a valid petsmart coupon. Some people have bought 3 rena fx3 filters with no problem. When I get there me and my dad two separate buys could only buy 1 and they did not honor the coupon. I was price matching something off the petsmart website. I could have bought the filter on-line and used the coupon on-line but I needed immediately. Maybe the petsmart employees that I go to are jealous that I spend more money in their in store in a week than they make in a month!!! If u don't like your job QUIT!!!!

Thanks for telling me - I know that alot of people feed their asain arowanas Bullfrogs. Bullfrogs make them grow faster and bring there color out.(if you don't know then google red arowanna....Wow!!) If they would have told me that then I would understand. It was how the situation happened that pissed me off. There knowledge of fish....sucks. There knowledge of the supplies.....sucks.

It's cheaper for me to order online because petsmart is about an hour away. I keep forgetting about price matching.

Sometimes it's good and bad they don't sell you things. Some people are ignorant.

Well I gotta agree with that.

So tmf what is the lesson learned here? Or is this post just a bunch of ranting and raving. I find it hard to beleive you spend $50.00 three to four times a week at Petsmart, What the heck do you buy?

dude, petsmart doesnt suck, dont blame the store. Sure there are ignorant employees, I mean after all, I do work with a few, but he was just following corporates guidelines. Petsmart cant sell any live animals (besides feeder fish) that are to become food. If you want to keep feeding your aro frogs get them from petco or something, just dont blame petsmart for one of their rules that helps provide a better life for some animals
