Someone on here had gotten an albino before. Lucky dude. I check every wednesday to see if i was lucky enough to find an albino one but no luck so far.

I've gotten all 3 of my Sens from Petsmart and they have been healthy from day one. Like what's being said though, you can never be too careful. I always check my fish (to make sure they're healthy) before the employee bags it up.
Never had an albino... I would love to get one someday!

The Senegals at the Petsmart here are $37.99... And theyre only about 2 inches long! Complete and total rip-off.

Yeah Bichirs are expensive here for whatever reason. I got my 3.5 inch (about) yellowish Senegal today for $10... Was told it was a Delhezi/Senegal crossbreed.

well i bought two last night and this morning i noticed one of them is missing a pectoral fin. he swims fine and is very active. should i take him back kinda fell sorry for the little guy

I will grow back I am rehabbing my second one that had both fins missing.

I got mine from walmart ha
never had a problem
the fish is a beat by the way
and get used to feeding it cut up fish or if you hunt deer heart
they have one HECK of an appetite.

I made or horrible discovery just now.
I noticed my rams were at the surface so I checked my filter and it was moving slow.
and the strainer on the tube was off...
I thought I had just sucked up one of my lotus lily pads...
I went to the bathroom to wash it out..
it was my 7 inch long sengal
about the width of the pipe dead
