If you post something on a public forum you should be prepared for and expect to receive less than satisfactory responses at times. Why this fails to be understood by some is beyond me...... Not sure why everything needs to be a Hippy, Care bear love fest where all just agree and no one says anything but positive things....Positive discussion can come from open speech from differed views. It is the participants and the Original poster (OP) that guide what usefulness comes from something. It should be noted that the OP is always the one that must provide Burden of proof or Burden of communication in a thread. It is not the responsibility of others to do so for them. They wish to initialize a conversation or topic, they must back that conversation and it's direction. If they are opposed in the process it is their job to provide information that supports their view in order to set the conversation or refute those that may oppose it.
Spatula certainly does not need a Net nanny to follow him around defending him.. He knows the rules and the territory that he is treading water in. He knows that there are a few that will question him or anyone else that posts similar themed threads.
At least from me (I do not know about others) I know he knows very well where I'm coming from as we have had this conversation for some time in different places and at different times. He knows I'm not hostile to him and knows that I can respect him but still disagree with him.
